Benefit World Famous Neutrals

As it was my birthday a few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to be in possession of a Debenhams voucher that allowed me to treat myself to this!

I'd heard a lot about these new palettes from Benefit and was in the market for a good, transportable neutral palette. It was a toss up between this from Benefit and the much loved by many 'Naked' palette from Urban Decay. My local store didn't have Urban Decay so it made the choice for me!

The last Benefit eyeshadow I got was when I was 13, it was called 'Mint Julep' and it beautiful! I don't know why I never thought to get eyeshadows from there since, but I'm glad I finally did.

It's rare to find a palette that has both cream and powder colours in it; it's great to have the choice between the two or even layer the powders over the cream so they last longer. Admittedly, I would prefer it if the creams were not in separate pots but were part of the palette like the shadows, I feel I would use them more. (although I do understand that they will probably last longer/better in pots)

I picked this palette out of the three they had because I love browny/bronzey eyeshadows, I prefer warmer tones on my eyes. This one is called 'Most Glamourous Nudes Ever'.

The creams are very light in texture, they are easy to wear. I haven't used them on their own yet so I'm not sure how well they would last by themselves. As for the powders, they are definitely gorgeous shades and they last well on my eyelids; but I would be lying if I said they were the best powder shadows I have used. I had to use my brush to get product several times before I was satisfied with the depth of the colour.

Overall, not the best on the market in terms of the actual products but a lovely little present, a great size for the handbag and good for make up on the go - not to mention the packaging as always for Benefit products, is sublime!
