Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

For a while now I've been feeling like I am in a rut with my hair and my haircare routine. I have still been trying some new things, but nothing was giving my hair the nourishment it needed.

After chopping a few inches of my hair off a few months ago, I really wanted to ensure it grew back healthily to save me the pain of having to get a drastic amount cut off again (I LOVE long hair!).

I'd used the Moroccan Oil Treatment Oil before and loved it but never thought of using the shampoo and conditioner. After having a family member recommend it to me as she had seen great results with it, I thought I may as well try it.

(This size comes with a pump!)

In case you haven't used Moroccan Oil before, just so you know it smells AMAZING! I can't quite describe the smell but I haven't known anyone not to like it.

I've been using the Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now and have seen great results with my hair, even after the first wash! My hair was noticeably softer, smoother and over time I believe it has gotten thicker by using these products as well. The treatment oil is a great supplement to these products. When used on damp hair, blow drying is quicker and your hair feels and smells lovely!

                                                                                                       (I love pumps.....!)

There is one slight downside though; I find after a few consecutive uses of Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner there is a little 'build up' of product in my hair and it does not feel as light as I would like it to. I have found this can be fixed by using a different shampoo once a week. I had a Herbal Essences shampoo to use up so I used that and it seemed to do the trick. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a detoxifying shampoo that is designed for use once a week specifically for this though - Herbal Essences smells great, but I'm not convinced that its great for achieving healthy hair.

Overall, I highly recommend the Moroccan Oil products, particularly if you are trying to grow your hair like me. They are not cheap products, but if your hair is damaged and a concern, you should try them. Perhaps start off just using the treatment oil and see how you like that. I bought mine from Beauty Expert, they had an offer on Limited Edition 500ml sizes of the Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner and a 125ml Treatment Oil for the price of the regular 100ml with free delivery.
