Real Techniques

After focusing much of my energy on buying an inordinate amount of make up, I realised along the way it would be wise (or the perfect excuse at least!), to also expand my brush collection.

There are heaps of make up brushes out there making it soo hard to choose which ones to go for. However, having heard so many positive reviews of Real Techniques brushes and being a big fan of Samantha Chapman (from Pixiwoo), I decided to give them a go!

I chose to purchase the Core Collection.
It has a good range of brushes. A buffing brush, which has quickly become my new favourite to use when applying foundation; a pointed foundation brush; a contour brush, I didn't have one of these before; and a detailer brush, which I love using with eyeshadow to line my lower lash line.
The kit also comes with a handy brush case, good for storing the brushes for travel.
I am so impressed with the quality of the brushes. Most of my other brushes are more expensive Bobbi Brown or Mac ones, but the Real Techniques brushes are equally just as good and very reasonably priced in comparison!
I'm considering getting the Starter Set next, which is a kit focussed more on make application for the eyes. You can't ever have enough brushes!
