A little trip to MAC

I got my MAC Pro card through a few weeks ago (eek!), so it is fair to say that a trip to a pro store was definitely on the cards! I had a meeting to attend in London and decided to take a detour to Carnaby street on my lunch break to gush over all things MAC.
I didn't have anything in particular in mind to purchase - I already have tonnes of MAC products from my days of working at Bobbi Brown (where I also got a very generous discount across all Estée Lauder companies!). So it was simply a trip to see what caught my eye in the few minutes I had to spare. I'm very pleased that I was able to control myself enough to buy only two things.
First up being their cream stick lip liner in Pink Treat. I'm not a fan of having to sharpen any form of makeup pencil. I never get round to doing it, meaning that I don't often use them. So a twist up formula has me written all over it. I thought this shade would be the perfect pink pick-me-up this Spring. I often prefer lip liners to lipsticks because of the precision you get - I quite often use them without a lipstick and colour in my whole lips with them. Very excited about this!

I also picked up an eyeshadow in the shade tempting. Although I have some awesome shades in my various eyeshadow palettes, I don't have too many single shadows that I can take on the go. This colour is a gorgeous shade; bronze, but not a typical bronze. And the frosty colour with the creamy formula means that as a single colour all over the lid it looks awesome. It's a colour that can give you all of the diversity of a smokey eye in just one shade. A total win.

What would be your Spring lip and ultimate single eyeshadow?
