Diptyque Eau Duelle

I got this little gem from my lovely friends at work for my birthday. I'd wanted it for so long but wasn't able to justify buying it myself - Diptyque is a rather premium brand! It smells so awesome that even after having it for a few months now and mentioning it in some of my videos, I still felt that it deserved it's own dedicated post.

If you read my blog or watch my youtube channel you may know that I have quite a thing for vanilla fragrances. There's just something about vanilla, it's sweet, fresh and just oh-so-good! However, Diptyque's Eau Duelle, is not your typical vanilla fragrance. Yes it has the sweet, gorgeous vanilla scent but it packs a little more punch than most with it's more spicy/peppery notes. A very different take on a vanilla scent indeed. If I'm honest, the first time I tried Eau Duelle I wasn't overly keen on it, the fragrance is definitely grower if it's not something you're used to. I've noticed it also takes a tiny bit longer than other scents to 'settle' on the skin if that makes sense?

Besides the scent being down-right awesome, the quality of the fragrance is also fab. It lasts all day. I often find myself toward the end of a long day still catching a whiff of this on myself - it's always nice to know that you're still smelling fresh after a good few hours!

I have the solid version of this too, a very handy addition to any handbag. Maybe I'll pop a little post up about that too, or at least an instagram, make sure you follow me!

  1. What a lovely present! I love Diptyque's products and the packaging is so beautiful. I'm the same though & can't justify buying anything of theirs right now :(
