Soap & Glory Show Good Face
Normally product reviews of mine feature items that are relatively new to my make up bag. This foundation from Soap & Glory bucks that trend! I don't know how this slipped through the net, but after buying it some time last year, it is definitely time for a little write up.
I really love Soap & Glory make up. Considering it started as a brand with mainly just body products, its venture into make up has been surprisingly successful - there aren't many cosmetics brands around that start with products other than make up and then develop such a high quality range.
Show Good Face is a 2 in 1 foundation and primer. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to find such a perfect shade for me, it is a very yellow/golden tone, the type that suits my skin best. It also has small light-reflecting pigments (they call it their 'lightscramble luminospheres'), much like the L'Oreal True Match foundation, very subtle but do make a difference in giving the skin a natural glow.
The foundation lasts well on me and looks so good on. I really like to use this in the Spring and Summer months because the 'glowy-ness' of it. I guess that's why I'm blogging about it now! It's a great foundation for all skin types in my opinion. If you do get oily, I often get a shiny t-zone myself, pop a little powder over the top (Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Instant Retouch Powder is ah-mazing!) and you're good to go!
