What I'm Watching: Netflix Picks!

As much as I've resolved to read a lot more in 2016 and not end up as a couch potato, I've come to terms with the fact that there will always be TV shows that bind me to my sofa! So, I thought I'd share a couple of the things I'm currently glued to, causing Netflix to ask me the dreaded question, 'are you still watching?'. Well, YES I AM!

First up, you've most likely already heard about it, you need to watch Making A Murderer. It's not the typical show I'd opt for, by my god it's a must-see. I felt a lot less guilty about binging on this as it is actually based on real life. In short, it's about a guy from the US who got sent down for a crime he clearly did not commit and was able to get released 18 years after being convicted as DNA tests proved his innocence. Believe it or not, the story of that was just the first episode. I'm not going to say anymore on it, you've probably already heard loads, but you need to watch all 10 episodes. It's an eye-opener! It's bound to make you growl at the TV.

Second is The Good Wife. A long-running US tv drama based on a woman who returns to work as a lawyer when her husband, a district attorney in Chicago, is sent to prison on corruption charges. There's six seasons of the show, so there's no getting through this one quickly! It's your typical tv show with new cases every episode and recurring themes throughout. Now, I haven't been chomping at the bit to finish it, but it is a great show dip in and out of. I manage to watch multiple episodes in a row, so there's gotta be something pulling me in!

What have you been hooked to recently? I need something to fill the void of Making A Murderer!
